Protect your truck bed

Todays trucks have become more of a status symbol since the introduction of the new Cadillac SXT. When I was growing in Texas a truck was used to haul lumber, feed, and the kids to the lake. We did not have a bed liner to protect the back of the truck and the scratches and dings were a badge of honor. Today trucks are becoming more glamorous as they become equipped with DVD players, GPS systems, and chrome packages. So when you are out looking for a new rig to haul stuff on the weekend look for the older Chevy or Ford and look at the bed and you will be able to tell how well this truck holds up to the rough and tumble jobs that they were intended for.
