Best Ball Golf Rules

There will be mulligans available for $5 each with a Max of 2 per person. Plus you will be able to purchase string to be used on the green with a max of 5 feet per team at $2 per foot.
Tee times will be posted on the blog. It is your responsibility to check your tee time
Be prepared for all weather conditions.
Men play from the white tees. Women play from the red tees.
Play Format
a) On every hole you ALL take your drive.
b) Then choose the best ball of the bunch to hit next, pick up the rest.
c) Then you ALL hit again from that “best ball” spot.
d) Repeat b & c until you are on the green.
e) Mark the ball closest to the pin, all putt from that spot, repeat “e” until
holed.
f) Mark your total best strokes only on the card for that hole for your team.
g) If someone hits a good one and you all agree to move up and hit that one
next, that’s ok. Conserving energy for other shots is fine.
Rule # 4 Maximum score per hole is 9 strokes, when you reach this total please pick up
Equipment
1. Each golfer supplies their own equipment
2. Proper attire is mandatory
1. Please replace divots, smooth all marks made in sand traps and repair all ball marks on the greens
2. Do not play until the players in front of you are out of range
3. Balls may be cleaned on green and divots repaired prior to putting
4. In order to keep play moving you do not need to use tee honors
5. Slow play is NOT acceptable. Spend no more than 2 minutes looking for a lost ball
Contests
1. Tournament director will have a handout of contest holes
2. Closest to the pin holes – must be tee shot
3. Longest drive – ball must come to rest in the fairway
Additional Information
• Please be sure to report to the starter 30 minutes before tee time.
• If the twosome you are paired with doesn’t show, you and your partner will play as a twosome
