With the new laws in Washington State against the use of cell phone while driving there has been a mad rush on Bluetooth headset type devices for everyones phones. While you can still talk on the phone while driving you are not allowed to hold it up to your ear. Which in my opinion isn’t when people are getting in trouble. They are getting in trouble when they are looking down trying to find or dial the number. No matter what laws are put into place to help curb the distraction of cell phones while driving the fact that it has become such a part of our culture that very little will change.
