I have noticed this increase in auto insurance ads where each companies is claiming to be able to beat their competitors on price and service. It used to be getting an auto insurance quote was a time consuming process so many people just stayed with their agent and did not bother to check the costs from time to time. Now there are some great resources that allow you to enter your information once and then let the companies compete for your business so that you are more in control of what price you receive.
