Going green

We are in the process of replacing all of our light bulbs with the new energy saving Compact Fluorescent bulbs (CFL) that are only use about 25% of the energy that a standard bulb will use. In some areas local power companies will give you rebates for going green and using these new types of lights. Seems odd that the company that makes money the more power you consume is advocating reducing your power consumption. It shows that they are looking out for the overall resources utilization that can impact our future and are providing the resource that will help our environment.
