Is crime going up

During the holiday season it always seems to be that crime rates go up as we can see and hear from the TV. In the NW there are have been multiple police shooting that are not related but range from a cold blooded shooting to a domestic shooting. Even in the Midwest the crimes that are being reported seem to make little sense when you think about it. As our economy lags in recovery people will look to desperate measures in order to make money and that is specialty law firms like the Oklahoma City lawyer firm of Slane Phillips will see more than their fare share of cases as we head into 2010.
