Putting together our basement

This winter we are finally having our basement finished and we are about half way through and hoping to have it done before Christmas. The longest part of the entire process so far was the dry wall. They were very particular to make sure that all the seams were covered and applied several coats of dry wall mud to help texture and cover up the seams. They also brought in various safety equipment such as respirators and coveralls to help protect from the fine particles from the sanding. I have to say that their attention to details really made the finished walls looking great and the texturing really helps the basement look inviting and not just like another basement.
