If you have a HDTV chances are that you have several devices that are connected like a PS3, HD DVD player, satellite receiver, and cable box. Making the most of those connections you may want to consider one of many HDMI ports that will allow you to hook up to 6 devices like your Bluray players to your HDTV. These new switches are capable of sending out 1080P signals from 3 sources to your TV. The unit allows you to easily switch between your devices via a IR remote. As you upgrade your technology your new HDMI switch will be able to match the resolution and provide the best in digital video and audio connection.

If you have ever wanted to get a laptop now is a great time. With tablets becoming more popular and back to school savings being offered finding clearance laptops is easier now online. Intel has launched their new chipsets and while the current dual core laptops are still fast they are just being phased out to make room for the new technology. For most of us having a dual core laptop would be a great upgrade and the only recommendation I would make is to add as much RAM as possible and this will help with the overall speed and performance.

Having files located across multiple computers and laptops can create confusion if you have teams working towards the same goal and not share appropriately. Using a document management system can help stream line your work load and create more synergies across cross functional teams.

Do you own a cell phone? Of course you do! What I should of said; do you use your cell phone for talking or texting? I guess cell phone users do both, but I wonder how many are choosing the text feature over the talk feature? What do you use your cell phone for more? With the newest Android powered phones like the samsung gravity you can text, talk, and surf the web much easier with it’s simple and vibrant touch screen.

A. Talking

B. Texting

C. About the Same

Please let me know if your fingers do the walking or is it your lips doing the talking. If you go out in public, you don’t see that many people actually talking on their cell phones. You will see a large number of people with cell phones in their hand and can see them looking down at their cell phone. I know some people will send emails, surf the web, or just play games on their cell phones.

Shopping on the Monday after Thanksgiving you can find a ton of deals. It seems there are always some great prices on GPS systems like the garmin nuvi gps and other high end electronics on Cyber Monday. Usually there is always some glitch or some website that wasn’t able to hand all of the extra traffic on Cyber Mondays. In order to prevent and play it on the safe side, you do want to try and wake up early on Monday and be the first one in “cyber-line” to pick up any products that might be very limited or will sell out fast. Also, just in case all of the traffic does shut down or cripple’s their website, you will be long gone and will have completed your business with the ever-popular Best Buy!

This holiday season there are some really cool digital cameras that are out for the holiday season and many with connectivity features. With so many models and types of digital cameras on the market that range from $50 to $900 it can be a challenge to know which model you need to buy. With many of the low end cameras they may offer a high resolution but the various features and speed of the camera will vary greatly. As you move up in the price points of most digital cameras you get better memory, larger LCD viewing screens, and faster point and shoot times.

Most medical practices are moving to all electronic records meaning that all their patient charts have to be scanned. The document scanning process can be a huge undertaking and is one area that should be left to the professionals. The ability to have patient charts searchable and mobile is what offices are looking to achieve. Not to mention that is a government requirement within the next few years. Since most of the things that we create today start in a digital format anyway it only makes sense to bring the older documents into the digital age.

I was just shopping around for a new HDTV and came across a 73″ DLP Mistubishi TV for sale at buy.com for under $1500. I have seen this screen size in some of our local big box stores and the price point has always been above $2100. This size of TV would be a perfect fit in our basement to round out our entertainment system and just in time for the 2010 NFL season. The size and picture quality of the DLP TV is quite impressive and if you are looking for size with great quality then this is one TV you may want to look at before they are all gone.
