I was just shopping around for a new HDTV and came across a 73″ DLP Mistubishi TV for sale at buy.com for under $1500. I have seen this screen size in some of our local big box stores and the price point has always been above $2100. This size of TV would be a perfect fit in our basement to round out our entertainment system and just in time for the 2010 NFL season. The size and picture quality of the DLP TV is quite impressive and if you are looking for size with great quality then this is one TV you may want to look at before they are all gone.

With so many models and types of digital cameras on the market that range from $50 to $900 it can be a challenge to know which model you need to buy. With many of the low end cameras they may offer a high resolution but the various features and speed of the camera will vary greatly. As you move up in the price points of most digital cameras you get better memory, larger LCD viewing screens, and faster point and shoot times. I would recommend looking at the camera reviews from thesource.ca to help you find the most appropriate camera for your needs. No need to over pay for features that you will never use.

Finding new furniture for your kids can be a difficult challenges, For our son it was more simple. He needed a room where he could play his xbox 360 and bring his friends over to think of ways to irritate the girls. We actually found a few area rugs that we were able to place around his bed and dresser to give a more up to date feel. Although he does get along with his younger sister they always want to play tricks on each others friends and this does create some interesting moments in our home. Like the time that our son and one of his friends hid under our daughters bed and then when her friend came over they waited a few minutes and then came out and you would have thought they chopped their arm off. The screaming and panic to get downstairs was quite the ordeal. This is why we have now allowed them to put locks on their doors to help keep some of their privacy.

My parents were visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday and they asked if we have updated pictures of the kids? I told them they were all on our PC and would have to email them, or upload them to Snapfish where my parents can go view and print their pics. It seems odd that we have very little in the way of actual hard copy photos of our kids. I was trying to figure out how much money we have saved on film based on the 1000s of pics we have on our PC. The same is true for songs. My wife was asking me for the Killers CD, because there were two songs that she wanted. I told her just to go to iTunes and spend the $2 and get the songs she wanted instead of wasting the extra dollars on a whole CD.

Just these two examples show how much technology has changed the way we purchase items now and no longer are willing to spend extra when not needed. With the dominance of online sites that offer free photo uploads, and music sites where you can purchase just one song the mainstay consumer products such as film and CDs are in a decline. We all know that film has been on a free fall ever since the adoption of digital cameras. People are no longer willing to pay for a roll of 24 prints when most of the time, there only a few of those shots you actually keep.

People at home on their own personal computers or the big companies with their computers; contain some really valuable pieces of information on their hard drives. In some cases this data would be impossible to replace, so it’s very important that you have a good back up system that can keep track of everything. There are even companies that have Corporate usb drive that they assign to their IT people in order to provide a more secure transfer and back-up of data. Now what if this information gets lost or the user accidentally deleted some critical files; what would happen then?

Ever since we finished our basement I have been looking for some new office furniture that is modern and very durable. I have noticed that the glass table tops seem to be the latest trend in many of the shops that we have visited. I am not really into the large oak desks with a hutch because it just seems to darken the entire room and not sure if the frosted glass desks are right for me either. I am looking for one that is functional where you can plug in your laptop and other peripherals and not have cords laying everywhere. The search continues and hopefully we will land on something by the holidays.

For those that are on the web and surf and design having a laptop and wireless connection is essential. I remember being tethered to the wall dialing up on my 14.4 modem and now I can set out back and enjoy videos streaming across the internet. What does the next few years hold for speed and access? Do you remember what we had back in 1988 when were just learning how to use floppy disks? The speed of the wireless router today is 50 times faster than they were a few years ago enabling you to create whole entertainment systems that no longer require wires.
