Planning for the remaining of the year

The state of our economy has placed many businesses in a difficult position when it comes to their marketing and sales budgets. This is because the capital needed to help grow market share and capture new customers is limited as the banks and lending institutions look regain their liquidity. Those businesses that have implemented appropriate budgeting and planning processes could be better off as they are more likely to have more cash on hand and less debt that needs to be financed. As the upcoming weeks unfold and the government and local banks figure out the path forward businesses will have to wait and see what cash will be available.
