Seeing ads on twitter

You know that twitter is becoming a main communication vehicle for people and businesses. It is amazing that we are fascinated by 140 character updates on everything from politics to hemorrhoids treatment therapies that someone is trying out. I have been following a few people and while some of it is useful there are many people that just update you on the fact that they just left the dentist office. There are real applications for Twitter and they are being seen on a daily basis as with the case with CNN using Twitter to follow conversations on the recent Haiti situation.
