Decorating your office

Ever since we finished our basement I have been looking for some new office furniture that is modern and very durable. I have noticed that the glass table tops seem to be the latest trend in many of the shops that we have visited. I am not really into the large oak desks with a hutch because it just seems to darken the entire room and not sure if the frosted glass desks are right for me either. I am looking for one that is functional where you can plug in your laptop and other peripherals and not have cords laying everywhere. The search continues and hopefully we will land on something by the holidays.
